Bernd Martin has been a guitar-maker since 1976. His instruments are custom built
and purely hand-made. He acquired the Spanish craft techniques in the traditional
workshops of Granada, before opening his own workshop
in the historic Albayzin quarter.

Dawing on his in depth-knowledge of the great Spanish Masterpieces
(by Antonio Torres, Manuel Ramirez, Santos Hernandez...) and after many years
of his own research, Bernd Martin's guitars are characterized by their profound,
lyrical sound. All guitars have string-adjustments where prefection is standard.

Bernd Martin is building upon the legacy of the old Masters, creating a bridge between
Spanish lyrical expressiveness and the balanced polyphonic harmony of the European school.
